Daniel Day-Lewis was born in London in 1957. His range as an actor is just incredible as he plays one powerful and compelling role after another, each one as convincing as the last. His Oscar winning performance as Irish artist and writer Christy Brown in My Left Foot firmly established him as one of the great actors of his generation and led to roles like Hawkeye in "Last of the Mohicans."
