Victoria and Albert Museum

Victoria and Albert Museum Cromwell Road, SW7
Tel: 020 7942 2000
South Kensington

Called the "world's greatest museum of the decorative arts," the V & A is home to vast and wonderful collections ranging from whole, furnished rooms, transported from Britain's great houses, to eating utensils and articles of clothing from past times. Celebrating the 100th year since Queen Victoria layed its foundation stone, the V & A remains a destination worth many visits. The layout of the museum seems to promote discovery, with many exhibits being found in out-of-the-way nooks and crannies; no matter how often one returns, there is always more to be discovered, here.
