Imperial War Museum, London
Lambeth Road,London SE1 6HZ
Elephant & Castle
The Imperial War Museum covers all military engagements in which Britain and the Commonwealth have been involved since 1914. It deals with all aspects of war, from the military hero to the conscientious objector, the home front and the front line. The museum recognises that war is a serious subject worthy of study, but does not glorify the subject. We should not forget that more than 100,000,000 people have died as a result of war this century. If you visit this museum you may be interested in visiting Winston Churchill's Britain at War Experience and HMS Belfast.
