Take Britannia's Magical History Tour! Join Britannia's publishers on a series of jaunts through Britain's rich, historical landscape. Our first tour focuses on the lands of the legendary King Arthur.
e begin our tour in south central England in the town of Marlborough, county of Wiltshire, one of the places where Merlin is said to have been buried. From there, we make our way west through various stops to Tintagel Castle, on Cornwall's wild north coast, to visit Arthur's storied birthplace.
We follow the old cross-Cornish track south to Fowey, on the Channel coast, searching for a sixth century stone monument, allegedly naming one of Arthur's knights. From there, we travel back east to Dover Castle, where the head of Sir Gawain is said to reside.
Not all of the places we visit are associated with Arthur, however, but we think you'll find them interesting in their own right. Each one of our tours can be used as a pattern for your own travels. Follow our complete tour route or modify it to suit your own needs. However you choose to do it, Britain's romantic past will come alive before your very eyes.
