Best known in North America as the scene of the PBS "Brideshead Revisited" series. 18th century palace, set between two lakes, with a painted and gilded dome rising from the Great Hall. Furniture, porcelain, Italian sculpture and collection of paintings. 1000 acres (404.7ha) of gardens and grounds--includes garden architecture: Temple of the Four Winds, Mausoleum, bridges, cascades and fountains.
