Monkeys is a secret very well kept by the locals, and is a true revelation. The food is kept simple, with an excellent choice of game always available and shellfish also featured. His desserts are excellent, the wine list impressive but a little dear, the owner/chef is a really nice bloke, the staff are good, can't knock it so won't bother.
Just go there. £40+ per head and booze at least £20.
Kids ill-advised (buy a dog instead). |
