The hardest thing to describe about Ransome's Dock is directions! Located just off Battersea bridge and therefore only 300 yds from Chelsea, this modern restaurant is tucked away in a fairly new development. The dining area is very stylish and, if you're lucky, you can get a great view. The food is modern with various Oriental and European influences, all of which work well. The menu changes monthly so there are no suggestions but the wine list is an excellent value. Staff are efficient. Overall, an accomplished performer that won't leave a wet patch but should send you off to sleep satisfied; who needs more?
About £30 per head plus £15+ for da hooch.
