I was first taken to Bradleys by friends who have a similar taste in food as my Rhodesian Ridgeback, i.e. quantity not quality, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover this little, unassuming restaurant in a quiet backwater of Swiss Cottage. The Décor is a little bland but the tables are well-spaced and the chairs comfortable. The service is very proficient and inordinately friendly; if anything, the meal is served a little too quickly. The menu is atypical of modern restaurants but still imaginative. I was seriously impressed with my Barbary duck with sour cherries and my wife was blown away by her pea soup with smoked salmon bagel chips; we both adored the roasted pear sorbet with tequila strawberries. The wine list is purely New World and great value - ask the sommelier for a suggestion.
Dindins for 2, including vino and service, was £77; pretty damn good.
