Roger Johnson, Public House Connoisseur

Some Moorland Pubs
by Roger Johnson, West Country Contributor

The Ever-Burning Fireplace at the Warren House Inn The traditional English pub sits at the heart of the Nation's way of life. You can find one in almost every village in the country; and where better to explore them, than in Devon and Somerset: home of strong West Country Cider and some excellent local beers.

In Britannia's latest tour, Pub Connoisseur, Roger Johnson, begins his exploration of the district's diverse watering holes with a selection of six pubs on Dartmoor & Exmoor and in the Exe Valley that joins the two.

If you run a pub in Somerset, Devon or Cornwall and would like Roger to visit, please send him an invite.
