Hough-on-the-Hill Church boasts an Anglo-Saxon based church, All Saints. What can be seen from that time is a semicircular stair projection, some windows and parts of the nave.
Nothing survives of the 12th century Augustinian priory that stood close by. A large and important Anglo-Saxon cemetery has been identified on Loveden Hill.
