Temple Bruer Tower

Day 5 - Today we left early for Lincoln and on the way took a short detour to Temple Bruer.

Temple Bruer TowerTemple Bruer Tower is all that remains of a Knights Templar preceptory. The church would have had a circular nave and two towers with the one we see today being the only visible remains left. The tower is 54ft high and dates from the late 12th century. Inside there is a plan of the original church.
