Bassingthorpe Manor House

Day 4 - Bassingthorpe.

Bassingthorpe Manor HouseBassingthorpe Manor House can be seen, close to, from the churchyard of the church of St. Thomas. What we see is the remaining part of a much larger house. It is dated 1568 and was built for Thomas Coney. It has interesting stepped gables, fine chimneystacks and an upper oriel window. It makes an impressive sight.

Next Stop: Temple Bruer Tower
