You seem to be confusing what *you* want with what you think *we* want. Personally, I don't want to live in a country dominated by the past. I want to be proud of a country that looks to the future, not to "hey, we used to have an empire spanning half the world" types. Secondly, British Airways is a private company. You can't blame Tony Blair for changing their livery.
