Jo,

I am living in the Philadelphia suburbs, and
there seems to be a significant Welsh influence
here, witnessed by the many place names such as:
Bryn Mawr, Bala Cynwyd (and some others that I
can't remember now). There is also a North Wales
township in the area. I suspect that if you dig
deep enough you'll find quite a lot of Welsh
ancestors.
