I visited Westminster Abbey in August, 1998. At the tombs of Queens Mary Tudor & Elizabeth I(half-sisters), the first a Roman Catholic, the second an Anglican, there is an inscription in the floor next to the tombs which is an attempt to reconcile the opposing religious forces that led to terrible conflict at that time. Could somebody provide me with the exact quote? Is a photo available? Thank you.
