Your right Hazel...but remeber that Ireland was 'Christianized' by Saint Patrick who was a Briton abducted in his youth by the marauding Irish. It is thought he may have come from Banwen (Near Neath), or Tair Onnen also in Glamorgan (though there are claims for Northern England also). Before Patrick (Padraig), Ireland was pagan while Wales was a Christian nation.
