Subject: St. Mellons
I'm researching my brother-in-law's family history and have traced back as far as John Jones who farmed at Hendra Vach, St. Mellons, in the mid-1800's (he was born in about 1814). I'm not able to travel to St. Mellons and would really like to try and track down some photos of old St. Mellons and the farm if it still exists (I suspect it doesn't, looking at the amount of development around the parish). Does the name mean anything to anyone? All information very much appreciated - thanks
