St. Withburga of Rome
(Died circa AD 750)

Died: 16th October c.AD 750

Withburga was a noble English lady who shut herself up in a small cell in St. Peter's church in Rome and remained the rest of her life there, in divine contemplation. St. Boniface attested to her piety.
