Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) Author and illustrator whose characters including Peter Rabbit are recognized internationally and universally loved. Her books include "Peter Rabbit", "Two Bad Mice", "Jemina Puddleduck", "Jeremy Fisher", "Roly Poly Pudding", "The Tale of Tom Kitten", "The Tailer of Gloucester" and "Wag by Wall".
