Neithon,
King of Ynys Manaw
(born c.AD 530)
(Welsh-Nudd, Latin-Natanus, English-Nathan)
Neithon was the son of King Senyllt of Galloway. As a young man, he probably fled to Ynys Manaw with his father, upon loosing his inheritance in Galloway to the mighty King Urien of North Rheged. He thus became the first King of an independent Ynys Manaw (Isle of Man); where he was eventually succeeded by his son, Rhun.
