Neithon, King of Strathclyde
(Died c.AD 630)
(Welsh-Nudd, Latin-Natanus, English-Nathan)
Neithon succeeded St. Constantine - the grandson of his cousin, Tutugual - as King of Strathclyde. He is sometimes
identified with King Nechtan of the Picts but, for complicated
interrelational reasons, this is unlikely. The two were, however,
contemporaries. Neithon died about AD 630 and was succeeded by his son, Bili.
