St. Cadgyfarch
(Born c.AD 390)
(Latin-Catovibacus, English-Cactmark)
Cadgyfarch was the son of St.
Cadfrod, Bishop of Caerleon. Extremely little is known of him and
his historicity is thus in considerable doubt. He said to have been a
bishop, presumably of Burrium alias Bryn Buga (Usk in Monmouthshire),
where he was patron before the church was rededicated to St. Mary Magdalene.
